Kathmandu, Sept 22: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has left for New York, USA, leading a Nepali delegation to the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). 
The Prime Minister boarded a Qatar Airways flight to Doha at the Tribhuvan International Airport this evening, according to the PM's press and research expert, Dipa Dahal. 
The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the General Debate of the session on September 24. During his stay in New York, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a meeting with the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres.
The Nepali delegation comprises Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, Kumar Byanjankar, Foreign Secretary, Amrit Bahadur Rai and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal.
Foreign Minister Khanal has already reached New York and is engaging in various sideline events, including one hosted by Nepal.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to return home on September 26, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
