Kathmandu, May 19: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged all political parties to create atmosphere conducive for holding the coming elections successfully.
During a meeting among major seven political parties he called at his residence, Baluwatar, this evening, discussion was held on various issues as increase of local levels in Tarai/Madhes, amendment of constitution, second phase of local election and budget presentation, according to PM's Press Advisor Govind Acharya.
He further said the PM exuded happiness in the meeting, saying, "It is a matter of pride to have successful first round election."
The PM also pointed out the need of political unity and cooperation for more conducive atmosphere for coming elections.
Major opposition CPN-UML and Madhes-centric leaders put forth their views on PM's proposal and decided to continue discussion.
The meeting was attended by top leaders including Sher Bahadur Deuba, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Bhim Rawal, Sunil Bahadur Thapa, Ashok Kumar Rai, Rajendra Mahato, Bikram Pande. RSS
